A nice desoldering tool to use in conjunction with your soldering iron. Great for printed circuit boards. Heat up the solder that you wish to remove, put the tip at the same point then you push the button. With the plunger pushed down that will create a sudden vacuum and the molten solder goes up into the tube. Pump is 7.5 inches long and it’s a manual solder sucker tool. Main body is aluminum. Be sure to open and dump out the solder “dregs” after each use and it will last you a longer time. Unscrews and easy to use!
Tips for cleaning:
* Twist cylinder counter-clockwise and take the plunger out of the cylinder.
*.Clean the piston and the inner cylinder with a brush, then lightly oil the piston ring.
* Carefully assemble the plunger back in the cylinder.
