These units to fit any G4 bi-pin light bulb, MR11 or G 5.3 mm G5.3 MR16 bulb into a hard wire low-voltage system. Although designed originally for the high heat from a Halogen bulb, these are perfect for the LED bulbs of today! Also great for many other G4 LED and non-LED bulbs such as our Disc LEDs and the new G4 18 LED towers we sell. It allows you to plug in your LED bulbs and attach it to 12 volt AC or DC lighting wires. Ceramic and mica insulators plus, now has 4" High-Temp wire leads. Suitable for Halogen lamps up to 50 watts!

The initial order was for a sample to prepare a mock-up prototype for a unique limited production site light fixture.  The socket is perfect for the assembly and more will be ordered in the days ahead.  Thanks for working with me on the question that was answered ahead of my order.
