Component tester. May 28, 2024 Reviewer: Gregory from Seaside, OR United States   I had to do a couple mods. The LCD would flop around when put into the included case. Also had to cut a slit in case for the component release handle would work. I really like it for checking capacitors. Was this review helpful to you?

LCR-T4 Mega428 Component Tester February 27, 2023 Reviewer: Fred S. from Winlock, WA United States   There was no instructions on how to layout the acrylic box. I assembled it, but don't know if it is right. The top acrylic window was cracked from the test connector corner into the LCD screen about 1/2 inch.  The crack is annoying, but the meter is still functional.  After testing over 200 transistors, the test connector would not grip very small diameter lead wires.  I would suggest to use clip leads in the connector as that would prevent that. .  Otherwise, the meter performed as advertised.  I am very happy with the meter overall! :) Was this review helpful to you?

LCR-T4 Mega428 Component Tester May 6, 2022 Reviewer: Clay Bartholow from MN   These testers have been around for ten years by now.  They're all basically clones of the same circuit and firmware.  So how do you compete in this market space?  Price is the obvious answer.  But how do you make your tester cheaper than the rest?  Cheaper parts, reduced quality, increasing scale of manufacturing?  Setting your tester apart from the competition in some way might work too.  That's what this tester tries to do.   It looks like there are cutouts to mount a nine-volt battery holder but was one provided?  Cost-cutting.  Does it work?  I don't know.  I've spent too much time assembling the case and writing this review! A Good Product,With 1 Small Annoyance October 4, 2021 Reviewer: Jeffrey Massey from Columbia, MO United States   The tester is well-built and looks professional. Couldn't wait to use it. Worked out of the plastic case when the top cover was installed static voltage blanked out the display. I just removed the top cover used the long screws as legs and it remained happy. Thanks!
