SMA female to UHF male adapter. Gold-plated center pins and SMA female side.. Has an impedance of 50 ohms. This is very popular due to a lot of ham radio antennas being replaced with the smaller and newer SMA connectors. Good inter-series adapter item to have "in the shack" this is an economical way to solve gender and connector type mismatches when interconnecting coaxial antenna equipment.

Keep one in the shack and one in the truck.

A must if you want take your HT along . My HT does not operate well inside my vehicle but tapping into the roof mounted vertical solves that issue. Gives me one extra band while mobile.
