This adapter is often used to quickly disconnect the antenna coaxial feed line prior to inclement weather such as thunderstorms. It is also a handy component for field installations such as ARRL Field Day activities or quick connect your radio to move it from say inside your ham shack to your mobile rig location. Keep one in the shack and one in the vehicle.

Very handy adapter especially when setting up and testing various antenna's.

I almost sent them back because the package I received was for a digital multi-meter which I knew I did not order.

I could not figure out at first who would send me a meter I did not order.   It would have been helpful if the re-used box had the multi-meter covered up and some info stating what was inside.   Anyway they arrived in great condition and fairly quickly so thanks for that.
