These Pre-"15" iPhone compatible earphone adapters allow you to charge the iPhone or iPad and listen to music at the same time. The unit features a 3.5mm Audio + Charging port for your iPhone 8-Pin. This is the latest adapter that is guaranteed to work with your iPhone or iPad that did not come with an earphone jack. If you already have an earphone jack then this may not work for you. This adapter allows for use during phone calls by using the iphone port for power and a Bluetooth connection to the iPhone for the call audio.
This adapter unit makes plugging in headphones or connecting your iPhone to an Aux input in a car much easier and you may keep your phone charged while doing so. This unit MAY not work with actual Apple EarPods or certain other type headphones. This adapter supports 12W pass-through for charging, Just maybe not the FAST Charging feature however, will work just as fast as normal charging with a higher 12W adapter. As always, It may not work with future iPhone iOS updates I am told. Also, these do not fit the 15 or 15+ and above as they went to the USB Type C port.
