Dust Cap with chain and ring for either UHF S-239 female connector or the female N connector They are threaded and has a gasket for weatherproof operation. The threaded coupling insures low noise, no water infiltration and withstands shock and vibration.

These are designed to conform to MIL-STD-348A-304 IEC60169-16 and CECC22210 specifications. Applications include, test and measurement such as a Bird wattmeter or your mobile rig, antenna, base stations, UHF switches, etc. Keeps dust, dirt and rainwater out of your radio, antenna and, other Ham gear!

Great way to protect the threads of go-box radio/antennas.  Rough handling isn't necessarily intended but it happens and the more get ahead of the potential damage to threads the more likely you will have a smooth setup without hiccups.
